One of my favorite friends from college lost her mother on Sunday. Her mom, Mama Deb, was an amazing women who was full of life.  She will eternally be in her zebra leggings, dancing around to the Mama Mia soundtrack. (well at least in my mind...)

Here is a note written by Joe, ShaeLee's husband.

ShaeLee lost her Mom, Debra Pinkston, on Sunday. She leaves behind 5 daughters and 1 grandson. She was a single Mom and two of the daughters were still living at home at the time of her death. As many of you may know, this family has lived below the poverty line for many years and Debra passed with no... assets to her name and no life insurance. To alleviate some of the financial burden she leaves behind and to assist with the tremendous funeral expenses, we have established a fund in Debbie's honor. Any funds raised in excess of the funeral costs will be set aside for the two young girls. Many of you have asked what you can do to help this family in their time of need. and a short note from ShaeLee.

For anyone that hasn't heard yet I just wanted to let everyone know that my mom passed away Sunday morning at roughly 11:45. Her breast cancer had spread throughout her body and she wasn't expected to live more than a few months even if they had done chemo and more surgeries. Although it sucks butt, I consider it a huge miracle that she went quickly and didn't have to suffer through more chemo. She was here for Adrienne's wedding a few weeks ago and only last week we went to a movie and got pedicures. The last time we saw her was when we came to visit her in our Halloween costumes and she told us how much she loved us all. She was laughing and smiling the last time we saw her and we will remember her for the amazing, beautiful, woman of light and power that she is!!!
